lyrics

A shiver in my bones tells me something is changing
I don’t know what it is
Anyhow it’s looking good for sailing, clear skies and easterly breeze
This boat five years in the making, she shines like pure gold
Slip away for the ocean is waiting, I’m ready so here we go

Seven days way out on the ocean, clouds forming way up high
It looks to me as if the weather is changing, I see it but I don’t know why
I wish I knew how to fix my radar, as well as my radio
The wind is stronger and the sky much darker, I’d better go down below

All alone, far out to sea, one hundred mile an hour winds
are blowing across my face
The wind, the tearing rain, fear too much to feel the pain
I’m going nowhere
Do I go I do not know, there is no place that I can feel at
home is far away from land
my boat is thrown from side to side, close to drowning
Then the air falls still

All alone far out to sea
One hundred mile an hour winds are blowing
Across my face
