Forsaken

Cast aside my foolish pride for this is all I know
Contemplated suicide it’s not the way I’m sure
Many times I pushed aside what others held so dear
Now at least I recognise I don’t belong down here
No place for me down here
Every time I look around they just don’t seem to care
People slowly drowning as they gasp for toxic air
Like frogs in pots oblivious accepting all the same
How can I just stand here
And watch the world go down the drain
Toxic rain
The rainbow has been overcome by darkness and despair
Morality and empathy have vanished in the air
Gifted people everywhere with talents gone to waste
And if I had my time again I wouldn’t come back to this place
Tragic human waste
Like many who have come before I yearn for yesteryear
For in my soul are memories behind my bitter tears
I burst onto this modern stage but now I want to leave
For all my deeds are shackled and I can’t find any peace
I’ve broken into pieces
So many little pieces
So many little pieces

Stop the Votes

The greatest power known to Man, trade-marked democracy
And don’t you try and tell it any different
Tentacles around the world, and deep under the sea
Ancient Rome reborn and resurrected
We follow U.S. footsteps, regardless where they lead
We do and say exactly as commanded
Like when under the Union Jack, fell at Gallipoli
All slaughtered on the shore right where we landed
We bash down doors in Baghdad and we kill in Kandahar
Fighting wars Americans invented
Fighting for excessive wealth and the comfort of the few
While searching for insurgents dressed as peasants
We shove them up against the wall, then strip them to the floor
Looking for small arms for their resistance
Then rob them of all decency, respect and dignity
While terrifying wives and little children
Yankees, Diggers side by side, weapons either hand
Implements of murder in possession
People scattered, bodies splattered, blood upon the ground
Death must be the ultimate intention
We send young kids with rifles in our name and in our place
To shoot at old men riding older donkeys
Missions we commission, that keep changing year to year
I thought that we were looking for Osama
We tell the world Saddam Hussein had WMDs
A massive lie, all guilty of collusion
A bid to get our hands on all the oil from overseas
Any fool can tell the real intention
For weapons of destruction, were nowhere to be found
We were sent there anyway, just as expected
By U.S. corporations who all have the final say
Who pay for presidents to be elected
We talk in solemn sombre tones, of courage under fire
Of boys returning home in wooden boxes
Then tell the world of sacrifice and why they had to die
Far away in someone else’s borders
Patriotic vomit, we’re exposed to every day
Splashed on telescreens and gossip papers
What Orwell wrote as fiction, is reality today
Everywhere I look I see his pages
Politicians either side, all share the common view
Of lobbyists, of miners and of bankers
Who swim around like hungry sharks, all waiting for the kill
Economy not people is their mantra
Corporations bleed us dry, we never stand a chance
Our rights have disappeared, just as predicted
Have a look around you and see the fascist State
Occupy not likely, all evicted
When did you as voter, say that we will go to war
When did you say that fracking was essential
When did you say miners and the banks could have it all
When did you say “Economy” not “people”
Why do you bother voting, when you have nothing to say
Why vote for those you know will make you poorer
Why listen to the voice of vested interest every day
Come on everyone, you should know better
We turn around the crowded boats of desperate refugees
Who come here seeking shelter and asylum
Shelter from the bullets, from the wrath of our marines
Shelter from our foreign occupation
We trap them inside razor wire, then watch them suicide
Watch them lose all hope and lose their families
Cage them up like animals, then leave them there to die
Hitler did much similar from memory

How Long
04:49
|

How long must I wait
Yes I need to know
It seems to me to be the right time
And the right place
Yes I need to know
How long how long
I’ve been fooled before
Something I believed in was a lie
I hope I’m not repeating all my previous mistakes
How much of my trust will you take
How much of my future’s at stake
I don’t care cause I always thought you were special
No you can’t blame me for being in love with you
You’ve changed so much since the last time that I saw you
I’m feeling good knowing I’m in love with you
I think it’s time to make my move
I need to know where you stand
I need to recognise some of those feelings that you hide
I need to know where I stand
Is this the right place to stand
I don’t care cause I always thought you were special
No you can’t blame me for being in love with you
You’ve changed so much since the last time that I saw you
I’m feeling good knowing I’m in love with you
How long must I wait

Rudolf Steiner

In this age of darkness we have blotted out the sun
Worshipped our creations and what we’d become
In our narrow-mindedness with blinkered, shortened sight
We praised the works of Ahriman and followed him
We gathered up the minerals, built juggernaut machines
To look for God inside what we created
Atoms we collided at humanities expense
Costly wars, agendas and experiments
When will we learn
You’ve been gone so long and you’re still far ahead of your time
Gone so long, still one hundred years ahead of your time
Years before your time you showed a way out of the maze
To homeless souls, despondent and disheartened
Revelations poured through every word you had to say
You told them of the future, those who listened
With every generation a new leader has to come
To guide the few to higher ground when danger comes
Those who jeered and criticized ignored the prophets call
They will be the ones who will need saving
When will we learn
You’ve been gone so long and you’re still far ahead of your time
Gone so long, still one hundred years ahead of your time
You’ve been gone so long and you’re still far ahead of your time
Gone so long, still one hundred years ahead of your time
You’ve been gone so long and you’re still far ahead of your time
Gone so long, still one hundred years ahead of your time
You’ve been gone so long and you’re still far ahead of your time
Gone so long, still one hundred years ahead of your time

Rose of Loyalty
04:12
|

And I will sacrifice myself for you
And I will sacrifice a rose of loyalty
And I will sacrifice myself for you
And I will sacrifice a rose of loyalty
And I will give all I have to give
And I will find a rose just for you
A rose for you, a rose for you
I will sacrifice a rose for you
A rose for you, a rose of loyalty
Of loyalty, of loyalty, rose of loyalty
And I will sacrifice myself for you
And I will sacrifice a rose of loyalty
And I will sacrifice myself for you
And I will sacrifice a rose of loyalty
And I will surely do whatever must be done
For you and I will leave this world as one
Under the Sun, under the Sun, there is no place left to hide
Under the Sun, we are as one, side by side
We are as one, under the Sun, a rose from the Sun
And I will sacrifice myself for you
And I will sacrifice a rose of loyalty
And I

The Pikeman's Dog
09:29

Long before the motorcar or telegraphic wires
When England not just ruled the waves but ruled over our lives
California fever had spread around the globe
A rush to waiting sailing ships ‘ye travellers all aboard’
Destination a southern nation across the southern seas
A land where rivers gleamed with gold, a land of hope and dreams
Where poverty and bitterness could all be left behind
Foreign men with nothing but fortunes yet to find some day
Some day, some day
Ballarat on early morn’ Eureka days of old
A story true and moving tells of courage I am told
When just a hint of dawn began to spread across the sky
A motley crew of miners took a stand prepared to die
And swore under the Southern Cross to fight for liberty
To stand for justice one and all and set the nation free
Against all odds, against the laws, oppressive to extreme
The miners swore under the stars and paid in blood to dream
That day, that day, that day
Troopers slaughtered all who dared to claim democracy
They cut down every living soul who tried to even flee
Surprised and overrun by forces loyal to the Crown
To no avail the miners stood their ground, most everyone
Among the brave and bleeding soon to count among the dead
A nameless man with mortal wounds inflicted to his head
Had held his pike, had held against King’s horses and King’s men
Had held his pike defiantly right to the bitter end
That day, that day, that day
The Pikeman, let us call him John, he tried to hold the line
With other men of courage who now knew that it was time
As bullet, bayonet and sword all found their chosen mark
As forces loyal to royalty laid siege in morning dark
And as the nameless pikeman lay there dying on the ground
His only friend beside him, just a scruffy little hound
Who howled and growled at any who did dare to take away
His master and a hero, who took his final breath
That day, that day, that day
The tiny dog, a terrier, cried out so plaintively
A loyal friend right to the end, for God and all to see
He sat upon his master’s chest, his howls were heard by all
Right on the spot where on that day courageous men did fall
And soon after John’s body had been tossed upon a cart
Piled upon the many who’d been stabbed right through the heart
Man’s best friend then leapt aboard, for none could drag away
The dog right by his master’s side, a legend born that day
That day, that day, that day
No one ever saw or heard the pikeman’s dog again
No one ever named the graves of all the fallen men
Most likely put down in cold blood with graveyard digger’s spade
The bravest little Terrier beside his master’s grave
December three, lest we forget, in eighteen fifty four
Liberty and justice finally made it to our shores
Political decrees of greed, of power and of Kings
Had forced the miners to rebel, a stockade bunkered in
That day, that day, that day
On quiet nights when all the stars are spread across the sky
The Southern Cross still shines on all the souls of those who died
In unmarked graves, not far from where democracy was born
Not far from where they swore an oath of loyalty at dawn
For every little thing we have was fought for years ago
By those who dared to stand up for the freedoms that we know
What fragments of democracy we boldly call our rights
We owe a debt of gratitude to those who held the pikes
That day, that day, that day
What does it take, to take a stand, and march against the tide
Of apathy and ignorance, the mark of modern times
Some of us remember, shame on those who do forget
Shame on politicians who’ve not learned the lesson yet
Shame on all the people who don’t recognise the flag
Yet bask in all the glory and the benefits they have
Eureka is our history, don’t let it slip away
For once again we’re ruled by iron fist as on that day
That day, that day, that day
That day, that day, that day

Seed of Discovery

A slight waft of winter gently carries leaves to the ground
It feels more like autumn, deep amber in colour is found
Not much of a winter, Mother Russia would freeze you to the bone
Just cold enough not to stay out all night on your own
Out on a raft on a pitiless sea, the great Southern Cross is your guide
Sail through the mist and gather your strength
You’ll find all the answers inside
Journey of discovery
Surrounded by water Antarctica snaps at her heels
For thousands of years she has been here, do you know how she feels
Coldness is not just a factor of winter and snow
It can come from a heart that can freeze all the love that you know
Envy the seed as it lies far below, snug in its own little mould
It will bring with it treasures and secrets from seasons
That a long time ago have been told
Envy the seed as it lies far below, snug in its own little mould
It will bring with it treasures and secrets from seasons
That a long time ago have been told
Seed of discovery

Warning Light

Life is not the same as I hoped that it would be
Chasing after dreams when I had reality
You came into my life like a sparkle on a stream
Been right through my heart, an essence of you
Will never leave me, no, never leave me, no
A karmic love connection, built on trust and honesty
Of silent deep devotion, all I wanted it to be
A karmic path connection, built on trust and honesty
Of silent deep devotion, all I wanted it to be
Now something I want you to hear
You know I never wanted to leave you
What we had was smooth and silky sweet
You know I never wanted to hurt you
I never thought I would lose you
I didn’t see the warning light that was flashing in front of my face
Warning light
I didn’t see the warning light that was flashing in front of my face
Warning light
Life is not the same as I hoped that it would be
Chasing after dreams when I had reality
You came into my life like a sparkle on a stream
Been right through my heart, an essence of you
Will never leave me, no, never leave me, no
I didn’t see the warning light that was flashing in front of my face
Warning light
I didn’t see the warning light that was flashing in front of my face
Warning light

From the Other Side
05:28
|

Well I had a hole in my heart and you filled it up
I could fit all my precious things in a paper cup
I watched the Moon pass overhead and it guided me
To where I knew I should have been instead to my destiny
See my destiny from the other side
I saw the seasons come and go still you hung around
Even when all covered by the snow nothing to be found
Winter shone a light into our souls in the dead of night
And all sought some shelter from the cold to be out of sight
See right through the night from the other side
Spring flowers bloom they tell the world of a mystery
That even when our bodies are destroyed throughout history
We keep coming back to see the world from the other side
For souls journey on and all our deeds we can never, ever
Ever, ever, ever hide
See the mysteries from the other side
Close your eyes and look into the Sun
You’ll be mesmerised
For many beings are working there as one
What a big surprise
What gives us life through night and day is no accident
I don’t buy what science has to say biased ignorance
Look into the Sun from the other side
I dreamt that a dragon swallowed whole all humanity
I woke up to see all those enslaved a reality
I saw autumn leaves torn from the trees by a bitter wind
To settle with the homeless on the streets of Economies
See reality from the other side
See reality from the other side
See reality from the other side
See reality from the other side

A shiver in my bones tells me something is changing
I don’t know what it is
Anyhow it’s looking good for sailing, clear skies and easterly breeze
This boat five years in the making, she shines like pure gold
Slip away for the ocean is waiting, I’m ready so here we go
Seven days way out on the ocean, clouds forming way up high
It looks to me as if the weather is changing, I see it but I don’t know why
I wish I knew how to fix my radar, as well as my radio
The wind is stronger and the sky much darker, I’d better go down below
All alone, far out to sea, one hundred mile an hour winds
are blowing across my face
The wind, the tearing rain, fear too much to feel the pain
I’m going nowhere
Do I go I do not know, there is no place that I can feel at
home is far away from land
my boat is thrown from side to side, close to drowning
Then the air falls still
All alone far out to sea
One hundred mile an hour winds are blowing
Across my face
