With the coming of the rain, we know that Autumn’s here again
We can feel the change in the air
From the misty morning glow to the Sun’s rainbow
Shooting arrows of light everywhere
All the waters rushing down
From the mountains to the town
Flooding rivers, creeks and water holes
Then heading out to sea
But that’s not all I do decree
You have to brace yourself, face yourself, face me

Leaves are falling, rivers flowing, rainbows in the sky
Flowers send their seeds down to the ground, to sleep awhile
The ants and bees work overtime, for Winter is very near
The nights are cold and so I’m told, the days are very clear
